With the construction of a doctor's practice, an ecologically forward-looking pilot project has now been created in the Austrian province of Styria: In just six weeks, general practitioner Dr. Mario Csiza had new practice rooms built. This was made possible by the company LUX Home GmbH, which developed a new type of wooden tile construction in cooperation with the Graz University of Technology. "Lego for big people" is what the inventor, Lukas Karner, calls the Luxbrick modular wall and ceiling system, which is not only efficient to work with but also biologically sustainable. A healthy indoor climate is ensured by the rear-ventilated wall and roof construction, and optimum heat and sound insulation is achieved by wood fibres, which are inserted after the installation work. Within a very short time, a practice building was created that can be extended if necessary and is also 90 percent recyclable.
