In accordance with the HPE packaging guidelines, type P5 chipboard panels are available as an alternative to boarding as flat, joint-tight wall elements and lids.

- Generally suitable for load-bearing components in damp areas P5 DIN EN 312
- Flexural strength and e-module the same in both directions
- Higher transverse tensile strength than OSB (approx. 40 % higher)
- Lower swelling than OSB, especially for edge swelling
