esb P5 – The solution for healthy building & living
The first choice for roof superstructures, exterior and interior walls, ceilings, floors and trade fair construction: esb boards from elka, for healthy building and living.
The esb board for load-bearing purposes in damp areas is mainly made of spruce wood and meets the highest technical requirements. It is available with blunt edges or with tongue and groove profile. The esb board type P5 can be used for all common applications in the building sector and offers significant advantages compared to OSB boards
We distinguish between esb Standard and esb Plus. The esb Plus is a premium board for RAL-certified, structural timber construction and prefabricated house construction.
Technological advantages
- Flexural strength and E-modulus the same in both directions
- Approx. 40% higher transverse tensile strength than OSB
- Lower swelling than OSB
- Can be used as underlay board N+F according to ZVDH/Cologne
