esb P5 – the fresh-wood board for structural interior work
The first choice for roof superstructures, exterior and interior walls, ceilings, floors and trade fair construction: esb boards from elka.
The esb board for load-bearing purposes in damp areas is mainly made of spruce wood and meets the the requirements of board class P5 under DIN EN 312 (declaration of performance DoP-PB-51). It is available with blunt edges or with tongue and groove profile. The esb board type P5 can be used for all common applications in the building sector.
We distinguish between esb Standard and esb Plus. The esb Plus is a premium board for RAL-certified, structural timber construction and prefabricated house construction.
Technological advantages
- Flexural strength and E-modulus the same in both directions
- Approx. 40% higher transverse tensile strength than OSB
- Lower swelling than OSB
- Can be used as underlay board N+F according to ZVDH/Cologne
