Energy management

We develop our products and production processes to be safe to use and cost-effective and to require as little energy and raw material as possible. The benchmark for this is the energy performance indicators of our energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001:2018.

We comply with all official requirements, laws and regulations. We are guided by the latest technological standards in all environmental protection and energy management measures.

Our energy management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. We record and analyse our energy consumption, identify savings potential and implement measures for more efficient energy use. We assess the development of our energy performance using energy performance indicators. The system is reviewed regularly by an independent certification body as part of the certification. This applies to all activities of the company that may have a direct or indirect impact on energy performance. Thus, everything that is unnecessary, e.g. machine downtimes, underperformance of machines, additional operations, scrap production, etc., is the subject of the energy management system.

Furthermore, we will regularly check that the necessary financial and structural conditions are ensured.

Energy management requires responsible employees at all levels who actively cooperate and think along with the realisation of these principles. They are supported in this by appropriate education and training.
