The elka sawn timber range
Sawn timber has a long tradition at elka; sawmills have been an important pillar of the company since 1906.
In our highly flexible sawmill in Morbach, we cut around 300,000 solid cubic meters of spruce and Douglas fir from regional sources every year. We mainly supply our individual products to Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and England.
Sawn timber from elka is used in house construction, the packaging industry and in trade.

Seit 1. März 2023 haben sich die elka-Holzwerke dem Netzwerk Holz von Hier® angeschlossen, um die elka-Produkte mit dem gleichnamigen Umweltzeichen auszeichnen zu können. Dies war die konsequente Entscheidung der seit Jahren engagiert vertretenen elka-Firmenphilosophie und der derzeitigen Marktentwicklungen.
